Terms of Use

These terms apply to the DispatchLink app and website, operated by LonePeak Radio LLC in Utah, USA. By using DispatchLink you agree to them, and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which also applies to the app.

DispatchLink is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.

What DispatchLink is

DispatchLink plays public-safety radio that is broadcast unencrypted over the air and shows incident summaries and transcripts produced by automated software. Information may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Summaries and transcripts are generated automatically and can contain mistakes. Don't rely on DispatchLink for safety decisions, travel decisions, or any situation where accuracy matters.

Using it responsibly

• Don't use DispatchLink to interfere with emergency responders, go to active scenes, or harass or harm anyone.
• Don't use it to commit or plan a crime, or in any way that breaks the law.
• DispatchLink is for your personal use. Don't record, rebroadcast, resell, or scrape its audio, transcripts, or data without our written permission.
• Don't try to break, overload, or get around the service or its subscriptions.

DispatchLink Plus subscription

• Live radio is free. DispatchLink Plus unlocks additional features such as Incidents. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. In the iPhone app, payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. On dispatchlink.org, payment is charged to your card through our payment processor, Stripe.
• Eligible new subscribers get a free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged.
• The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• iPhone app: manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Website: cancel any time in Settings on dispatchlink.org; Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for. To request a refund for a website purchase, email lonepeakradio@icloud.com.

Availability

Channels, features, and coverage can change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance, equipment problems, or reasons outside our control, including agencies encrypting their radio channels.

No warranty

DispatchLink is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, DispatchLink. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for DispatchLink in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending use

You can stop using DispatchLink at any time. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use DispatchLink means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
